I like to write. Whether it's newspaper columns, sitcoms, novels, plays, blogs, shopping lists...there's nothing I haven't started and then given up halfway through. I've persevered with some though.

I have written sketches and one-liners for BBC Radio 4extra's satirical sketch show 'Newsjack'.

I wrote, directed and starred in a play at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe called 'The Internationally Recognised Language of Elvis'. The Scotsman called it a "pointless shambles" and were entirely correct. I've got better.

I wrote a weekly column for the Driffield Times and Post for a year, giving me an opportunity to spout forth on anything and everything as long as it fit into 500 words.

'A Man and His Dog' was a regular article in Northern Life magazine in which I documented walks with my labrador, Alfie. Very much a canine forerunner to Bewildered Dad.
STOP PRESS: Hiya, if you want to read a load of my writing then why not visit the Bewildered Dad website - the parenting site that doesn't even pretend to have the answers? Sounds like a plan to me...
